      DESCRIPTION

Mul Cotton Shibori with Kantha Stitch

The Vasanti Priya is a saree that radiates the golden warmth of Lord Krishna's beloved spring — Vasant. Drenched in the most joyful shade of sunshine yellow, this exquisite Mul Cotton saree is a rare marriage of two celebrated Indian art forms. The body is adorned with an all-over Shibori print — the ancient resist-dyeing technique that creates those dreamy, organic wave-like patterns in tonal ivory and gold across the luminous yellow base, ensuring every piece is uniquely one of a kind. But the true jewel of this saree lies in its pallu, lovingly embellished with traditional Kantha hand embroidery — delicate running stitches tracing intricate motifs in contrasting thread, each stitch placed by an artisan's patient hand, layer by layer, breath by breath. The result is a saree that feels like both sunshine and prayer — contemporary in spirit, deeply rooted in heritage.

      STYLING TIP

      💫 Styling Tips
Blouse: A sleeveless black blouse (as styled) creates a bold, modern contrast; an ivory or mustard blouse keeps it festive and sun-drenched
Jewellery: Oxidised silver or antique gold bangles, a simple floral pendant, and pearl drop earrings — let the Kantha pallu remain the star
Hair: A floral bun adorned with pink or yellow flowers (as styled) perfectly matches the saree's spring energy
Drape Style: Open-pallu Nivi drape to keep the Kantha embroidery beautifully displayed and flowing
Bindi: A small gold or red bindi completes the festive devotional look
Footwear: Gold kolhapuris, embroidered yellow or ivory juttis, or strappy ethnic sandals
