Our Story: Where Devotion Meets Fashion
We had wardrobes full of sarees — but none of them felt like us. We loved sarees. We loved Krishna. But we couldn't find a brand that honoured both at the same time.
One morning, at a small home altar, we tried something simple. We placed a saree at the feet of Śrī Rādhā Krishna — not to ask for a blessing, but to return something we realised was never ours to begin with. We lit a lamp, placed flowers and a Tulsi leaf, and said what felt true: "This was always Yours. We are only holding it for a moment. Do with it as You will."
What came back into our hands felt different — lighter, more purposeful, as though it carried something we couldn't put there ourselves. We hadn't asked for anything. We had only let go.
That moment stayed with us. And a question followed: What if every saree a woman wears could begin this way — not as a ritual request, but as a complete offering? What if clothing wasn't just about fashion, but about consciousness and seva?
BhaktiRaas was born from that question — and from one honest understanding:
This brand belongs to Krishna. Every saree is placed at His feet before it leaves our hands. What He returns is prasāda — His grace, for the one who receives it. We don't decide what that blessing looks like. We only make the offering.
We are not the founders of Bhakti Raas. We are its first sevaks.
What Bhakti Raas Is
Bhakti Raas is a devotional saree brand offering soft cottons, silks, and heritage weaves that are first offered to Krishna—and then sent to you. We are based in India and rooted in the culture of Vrindavan and Vaishnav bhakti.
Our vision is simple:
-
Create sarees that feel beautiful on your body and peaceful in your heart.
-
Honour traditional weavers and their families with fair, respectful work.
-
Connect everyday dressing with remembrance of Krishna.

The Offering Ritual
At Bhakti Raas, every saree passes through a small but sincere ritual before it reaches you.
-
Your saree is carefully set aside from regular stock.
-
It is brought to our altar and placed at the feet of Sri Radha Krishna with flowers, incense, and a lit lamp.
-
We chant the Lord’s names and offer a short prayer for your well‑being.
-
Only then is it folded, packed, and shipped—as a small piece of prasad you can drape.
There is no extra charge for this, no special “spiritual add‑on.” It is simply how we choose to run His brand every single day.

Who Really Owns Bhakti Raas
In our hearts, Bhakti Raas has only one true Owner: Lord Krishna. We see this brand as His, not ours.
We are two Krishna devotees serving under Him—handling the work you can see while trusting Him with everything you can’t. One of us holds design, storytelling, and customer experience; the other anchors operations, sourcing, and systems so the seva actually runs day to day.
Our role is simple: to show up, work sincerely, and keep asking whether each decision feels aligned with His service.
What We Stand For
Conscious creation
Clothing should carry intention, not just trends. We design sarees that are graceful, modest, and easy to wear to work, temple, and family gatherings—so you don’t have to compromise between style and values.
Devotion first
We try to make decisions that honour Krishna first and trust that the right customers will find us. From how we photograph sarees to how we pack orders, we keep asking: Is this aligned with bhakti?
Respect for weavers
Behind every saree are skilled hands and real families. We work with weavers and suppliers who align with our values and aim to support stable, dignified livelihoods—not just one‑time orders.
Community over transactions
We don’t want to be just “another saree shop.” Through WhatsApp, email, and our Wisdom Blogs, we hope to build a community of women who care about consciousness, devotion, and meaningful living.
Why We’re Different
Many brands talk about stories. Our story is a sadhana.
-
Your saree is offered to Krishna before it reaches you.
-
Your purchase supports weavers’ families.
-
Your wardrobe slowly becomes an expression of your inner life, not just outside trends.

From His Altar to Your Wardrobe
Bhakti Raas began with our struggle to find sarees that matched our love for aesthetics and our commitment to bhakti—and with the realization that Krishna should be the real Owner of whatever we build.
Every time you choose a Bhakti Raas saree, you support not just a small business, but a small attempt at Krishna‑centered work in the modern world. From His altar to your wardrobe.
