    Vatsalya

Guidance for Children. Support for parents.

Some carry it quietly

In the way they avoid school on certain mornings. In the gap between how hard they try and how little ever seems to show. In the questions they have stopped asking — because asking has never helped. You have watched that. You have carried that. Perhaps for longer than anyone around you know.

The Vatsalya Initiative was built for this moment — the moment a parent decides that love alone is not enough, and that their child deserves expert understanding, not just more waiting.

Bhakti Raas and CounselUpNow came together to make that understanding accessible. Two decades of specialist expertise in child development. A brand built on the conviction that seva does not end at the saree. One shared belief — that every child deserves to be seen accurately, and every parent deserves a real way forward.

Your first consultation is gifted to you — no cost, no conditions, no obligation. Just a conversation that could change everything.

Why We Built This Together

Bhakti Raas was built on the belief that a brand can be more than what it sells. Every saree that leaves our hands has been offered to Krishna — arriving not as a product but as prasadam. Every purchase quietly supports an artisan family, a weaving tradition, a mother in Vrindavan whose seva deserves to be honoured. From the beginning, Bhakti Raas was never only a saree brand. It was a practice of giving made visible.

CounselUpNow was built on a different but parallel conviction — that every child who is struggling deserves to be met with expertise, not assumptions. That parents navigating ADHD, learning difficulties, developmental delays, and special educational needs deserve a professional partner who takes their child's specific mind seriously. Not a waiting list. Not a generic assessment. A real, qualified, unhurried engagement with what their child actually needs.

When these two found each other, the conversation was immediate.

Bhakti Raas had proximity to families  across India who trusted the brand with something as intimate as what they wear. CounselUpNow had the expertise those families needed but rarely knew how to access. Together, we saw an opportunity to build something neither of us could build alone.

Not a campaign. Not a referral scheme. An initiative — co-owned, co-committed, and built to last.

That is the Vatsalya Initiative.

What Vatsalya Is

The Vatsalya Initiative is a structured support programme jointly created by Bhakti Raas and CounselUpNow for families navigating childhood learning, attention, developmental, and behavioral challenges.

It is built on three convictions that both partners share without compromise.

🌱 Every child deserves to be understood before they are assessed.

Children with ADHD, learning difficulties, or developmental differences are frequently measured against standards that were never built for them. Vatsalya begins not with tests but with listening — understanding who your child is, how they experience the world, and what they genuinely need to grow.

🤝 Every parent deserves expertise, not just empathy.

Compassion alone does not tell you what to do on a Tuesday morning when your child refuses school again. Through CounselUpNow's specialist guidance, parents receive practical, evidence-informed direction — not just reassurance, but a real way forward.

🏠 Every family deserves to be held as a whole.

A child's challenges do not stay within the child. They move through every room in the house. Vatsalya works with the understanding that supporting a child means supporting the family around them — with the same seriousness, and the same care.

Vatsalya is where Bhakti Raas's commitment to seva meets CounselUpNow's commitment to expertise. What sits at that intersection is something families in India have needed for a long time.

Who This Is For

You may have been carrying this longer than anyone knows.

The Vatsalya Initiative was designed for parents who are somewhere on a very specific and often lonely road.

Perhaps you have a diagnosis — and the diagnosis answered one question while opening ten more. Perhaps you are still waiting for one, holding the quiet certainty that something is different without the vocabulary to name it. Perhaps a teacher has said something that has stayed with you. Perhaps your child has said something that has stayed with you even longer.

You are in the right place if —

◦ Your child has been diagnosed with ADHD or is currently being assessed

◦ Reading, writing, or sustained concentration presents significant and consistent difficulty

◦ Your child's school has raised concerns that left you more unsettled than informed

◦ Emotional or behavioral challenges have begun to shape your family's daily life in ways that feel beyond your current tools

◦ You sense that your child processes the world differently — and you want to understand that difference before the world decides to label it

◦ You have visited multiple professionals and left each appointment with less clarity than you arrived with

◦ You are simply exhausted — and you need someone qualified to tell you where to begin

You do not need the right words to reach out. You do not need a file, a report, or a referral letter.

Both Bhakti Raas and CounselUpNow built this initiative for the parent who is standing exactly where you are standing now — with love for their child, and nowhere obvious to take it.

This is somewhere obvious.

The expertise behind the initiative

Anu Sharma
Founder, CounselUpNow

Psychologist, RCI Registered Special Educator, with 20+ years of experience guiding in children, high school students, and parents through learning, behavioral, emotional, and career-development challenges.

Anu Sharma did not build CounselUpNow to run a practice. She built it because she had spent two decades in rooms with children who were being misread — bright, complex, deeply capable children who were being measured by the wrong instruments — and with parents who were being handed diagnoses without being handed understanding.

She decided that was not good enough.

CounselUpNow was founded on a single professional conviction — that every child who is struggling deserves a specialist who begins with curiosity rather than conclusion. Who asks not what is wrong with this child but what is this child trying to tell us that we have not yet learned to hear.

Over twenty years, Anu has worked with families navigating ADHD, learning disabilities, developmental delays, behavioural challenges, and special educational needs — not as cases to be managed but as families to be genuinely supported. Her approach is evidence-informed, deeply practical, and built around the specific child in front of her, not a generalised profile of what that child is assumed to be.

When BhaktiRaas approached her about the Vatsalya Initiative, her answer was immediate.

"Families in India have the love. What they often lack is access to the right expertise at the right moment. That gap has a cost — and it is the child who pays it. The Vatsalya Initiative exists to close that gap.

Child Development · ADHD & Learning Disabilities · Developmental & Behavioural Support · Special Educational Needs · Parent Coaching · Family Guidance

As the expert partner of the Vatsalya Initiative, Anu brings to every family what twenty years of serious work produces — the ability to see a child clearly, and the skill to help parents do the same.

What To Expect

What happens when you take the first step.

One of the reasons families wait longer than they should is because they do not know what reaching out will actually look like. We want to remove that uncertainty completely.

Here is exactly what happens when you connect with the Vatsalya Initiative.

Step 1 — You Reach Out

A short message. A filled form. A scanned QR code. Nothing more is required of you at this stage.

No referral letter. No prior documentation. No clinical history prepared in advance. Just your name, your child's name, and a sentence — however incomplete — about what has been on your mind.

Both Bhakti Raas and CounselUpNow will receive your message with the seriousness it deserves.

Step 2 — We Make Space

Within [X hours / days], Anu's team will reach out to schedule your first consultation at a time that works for your family.

This session is fully gifted — covered entirely by BhaktiRaas and CounselUpNow together. There is no cost to you, no form of payment requested, and no condition attached to receiving it.

Step 3 — The Conversation

Your first consultation is not an intake assessment. It is not a test your child needs to pass.

It is a genuine, unhurried conversation between you and Anu — about your child, your family's experience, the questions you have been carrying, and what understanding and support could look like for your specific situation.

You will not leave with a label. You will leave with clarity.

Step 4 — A Path That Belongs To You

At the end of your first consultation, Anu will share her initial observations and outline what she believes the most useful next steps could be — whether that is continued engagement with CounselUpNow, specific resources, or simply the confidence of knowing what you are dealing with.

Whatever comes next is your decision entirely.

Should you choose to continue, Anu will discuss all further sessions and fees with complete transparency. Bhakti Raas has no financial involvement beyond the gifted first consultation. What we have invested is belief — in this initiative, in CounselUpNow, and in your family.

The first step is the hardest one. We have made it as easy as we know how.

The BhaktiRaas × CounselUpNow Promise

Why two organisations built this together.

Initiatives like this do not emerge from marketing strategies. They emerge from the point where two organisations look at the same gap in the world and find they cannot look away from it.

Bhakti Raas has always understood seva as something that moves outward — from the saree that is blessed before it leaves our hands, to the artisan whose livelihood it protects, to the mother in Vrindavan whose dignity it honours.

The families who trust Bhakti Raas extended that circle further.

In their stories, their questions, their quiet searches for somewhere to take what they were carrying — we heard something we could not unhear. A need that sat beyond what any saree could address. A need that required us to ask not what can we sell but what can we build.

In our tradition, Vātsalya is the love that sees the divine in the child before the child has done anything to deserve it. Unconditional. Patient. Refusing to reduce a child to their difficulties.

That is the spirit Bhakti Raas brings to this initiative.

CounselUpNow

CounselUpNow has spent over two decades doing work that rarely receives the visibility it deserves — sitting with families at their most uncertain, helping parents translate confusion into understanding, and helping children be seen accurately by the people who love them most.

What Anu Sharma and her team bring to the Vatsalya Initiative is not a service packaged for a brand partnership. It is the same rigorous, human, expertise-first approach that has guided their work from the beginning — now made accessible to families who would otherwise never have known where to find it.

CounselUpNow does not believe any child is beyond understanding. That conviction has not changed in twenty years. It will not change here.

Between Bhakti Raas' commitment to seva and CounselUpNow's commitment to expertise sits the Vatsalya Initiative — built not because it was a good idea, but because it was necessary.

We do not promise to have every answer. We promise to sit with you until you find them.

Bhakti Raas × CounselUpNow Wear the Blessing. Live the Seva.

FAQ

Questions you are probably holding. We have tried to answer them honestly.

Q1: Is the first consultation actually free?

Yes — and we want to be precise about what that means.

Your first consultation is fully gifted by Bhakti Raas and CounselUpNow together. No cost, no conditions, no obligation to continue. It is not a trial. It is not a limited offer with terms buried beneath it. It is a genuine gift from two organisations that believe the first conversation should never be the barrier.

Should you choose to continue beyond the first session, Anu will discuss all further engagement and fees with you directly and transparently. Bhakti Raas has no financial involvement in any subsequent sessions. We earn nothing from what comes after. That is a deliberate choice.

Q2: Does my child need a diagnosis before I reach out?

No. Many of the families who benefit most from the Vatsalya Initiative arrive without one.

A diagnosis can be a useful tool. It can also take time, create anxiety, and sometimes raise more questions than it answers. You do not need to wait for one. If you sense that something needs attention, that sense is reason enough to begin.

Q3: Is this available where we live?

Yes. The Vatsalya Initiative is available to families across India.

Anu offers consultations both online and in person — so regardless of where you are, access to expert guidance is not determined by your postcode.

Q4: Is everything I share confidential?

Entirely.

What you share within the Vatsalya Initiative stays within it. Your family's story, your child's challenges, the details of your consultation — none of it is shared, referenced in marketing, or visible to anyone outside the professional relationship you choose to enter.

Your trust is the foundation this initiative stands on. We do not take it lightly.

Q5: We have never purchased from Bhakti Raas. Can we still reach out?

Absolutely. The Vatsalya Initiative was built for families — not for customers.

You do not need to have bought a saree from Bhakti Raas to access this support. You do not need any prior relationship with either organisation. If you are a parent looking for expert guidance for your child, this initiative exists for you.

Q6: What ages does CounselUpNow work with?

[Add based on Anu's practice — age range she works with.]

Q7: How soon can we expect to hear back after reaching out?

[Add based on CounselUpNow's response time commitment.]

Q8: Will my child need to be present in the first consultation?

The first consultation is designed as a parent conversation — a space for you to share your experience, ask your questions, and receive initial guidance without your child needing to be present or assessed.

What subsequent sessions look like will depend entirely on what Anu recommends after that first conversation.

If your question is not here, it belongs in the conversation. Reach out. We will answer it properly.

Your child's strength is already there.

Sometimes it simply needs the right person to help you find it.

You have read this far because something here recognised something in you. That recognition is enough to begin.

Bhakti Raas and CounselUpNow have set aside your first consultation — fully gifted, completely without obligation — because we believe the first step toward understanding your child should never be a financial decision.

It should simply be a decision.

Begin on WhatsApp

No paperwork. No pressure. No obligation. Just a conversation that could change everything.

Vatsalya is the newest expression of a commitment that has always been there. Bhakti Raas was never built around a single purpose. From the beginning, it was built around a question — how much good can one brand do — and the answer has grown with every year. What began as a devotional saree brand rooted in the tradition of prasadam has become something larger. A brand that protects livelihoods. Honours forgotten mothers. And now, through the Vatsalya Initiative with CounselUpNow, stands beside families at one of their most challenging moments.

These are not separate initiatives running in parallel. They are four expressions of the same conviction.

Four Pillars of Bhakti Raas

🪔 Prasadam Blessing Every saree is offered to Krishna before it leaves our hands — arriving not as a product but as His blessing.

🧵 Artisan Livelihood Every purchase directly supports weaving families across India's heritage clusters — hands whose craft carries centuries.

🌸 Meet Our Mothers Widowed mothers in Vrindavan, performing seva at Radhakund and Govardhan — seen, supported, and never forgotten.

🤝 Vatsalya Initiative Expert guidance for children navigating learning, attention, and developmental challenges — and strength for the families who love them.

If the Vatsalya Initiative brought you here, you are welcome to stay. This is what Bhakti Raas is. Not a saree brand with good intentions. A movement that wears its values in everything it touches.

Wear the Blessing. Live the Seva.
